Gratitude is a feeling of appreciation and gratitude. It is a state of being that you hold in your energy body, particularly in the heart area where it radiates out in all directions around you.
It is a positive emotion that can encourage the expression of other similar emotions such as appreciation, happiness, joy, and bliss.
Holding the energy of gratitude, also called gratitude, is a matter of intention and is practiced purposefully by holding the energy of gratitude for longer periods of time or invoking it more frequently.
One way you can get into a state of gratitude is through guided meditation and below is a short guided meditation on gratitude. Reading takes an average of two minutes.
Just read it mentally and follow along as you read, or close your eyes and practice separately after reading it first.

Breathe in and out deeply. Breathe in and out again.
Uncross your legs and ankles, place your knees hip-width apart, roll your shoulders back and down.
Focus your attention on your heart center, your heart chakra.
Visualize the energy in your heart center as bright beautiful powerful light energy in fuchsia, pink and velvety pink. Imagine this energy swirling around your entire heart area and filling your chest with this bright pink velvet flowing light.
Now imagine this glowing fuchsia pink velvet light spreading in front of your heart, into a flowing mist in front of your chest and behind your chest. Watch as this light becomes a floating mist just between the base of your shoulder blades and in front of your chest. Breath in and exhale.
Begin to envision one thing, a person, a resource, an organization, an object that you are grateful to have in your life right now. Imagine it in your mind’s eye.
Imagine the light pink velvety energy flowing to this thing, enveloping it in a swirl of this loving light energy. Breathe in and out, imagine this thing reacting energetically and sending you a stream of energy in return.
Visualize the color of this stream of light entering your energy and watching it return to your heart area. Watch as this light swirls around your heart area, filling any empty space around your heart area.
Inwardly say, “Thank you, I appreciate you” to the source of the returning energy flow.
Whenever you are ready, go ahead and bring your attention back to the physical environment around you.

This is a short gratitude meditation that you can do whenever you need to focus your attention on something that brings you joy, love, bliss, or excitement, whatever that is for you.
It’s important not to judge yourself for the “thing, source, person, object, or organization” that brings you joy and comes to your mind’s eye to be valued. It could be a person, it could be a “living” being, it could also be something that we normally think of as non-living, like a machine, a computer, or a work of art.
The more you stop to appreciate and be thankful for what is around you, the more joy you will have in what lies ahead, and the more joy you will experience in turn.
Being thankful for what you are thankful for is always a gift, whatever you are thankful for.
